Stainless steel shower channel is a drain that is built in the shower to collect water and send it into the sewage line. Although it can be installed in the wall as well, it is typically positioned in the shower floor. To prevent corrosion, the channel is composed of stainless steel. Shower drains do not have a lever or stopper that seals the drain to allow water to fill it, unlike bathtub drains. Every shower drain works in the same way.
